Key ResponsibilitiesPartnership & Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between Pomegranate Hospitality, Safta, and The Source Hotel ownership, ensuring a seamless partnership.
- Collaborate with hotel management to align strategies, goals, and service standards for lobby bar and banquet operations.
- Regularly update on operational performance, financial metrics, and guest feedback.
Lobby Bar Operations:
- Oversee daily operations of the lobby bar, maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Maintain innovative beverage menus that align with Pomegranate Hospitality’s vision and resonate with hotel guests.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective operations and product quality.
- Schedule, train and coach bar staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all banquet and catering events, ensuring flawless delivery from setup to teardown.
- Work closely with the hotel sales team and hotel leadership to customize event details, including menu selection and event layouts.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu execution meets both Pomegranate Hospitality and guest expectations.
- Monitor event budgets, labor costs, and post-event reviews to drive operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Schedule food and beverage staff for all events.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of lobby bar and banquet staff.
- Schedule staff to ensure optimal coverage and efficient use of labor resources.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training initiatives.
- Oversee compliance with health and safety standards, including alcohol service regulations.
- Analyze financial performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management, with expertise in bar and banquet operations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful partnerships with ownership groups and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, and catering/event trends.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage diverse teams and foster relationships with ownership and guests.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in POS systems, event management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
