SAFY is seeking a full-time Mobile Crisis Assistant Program Director for our Aurora, Colorado division.
As a Mobile Crisis Assistant Program Director, you will be responsible for working alongside the Program Director to ensure full execution of mobile crisis response. Providing supervision on a range of moderately complex clinical services with children, adolescents, and identified adults. Oversee direct mobile crisis responder staff. May also assist families in coordination and identification of resources and assist with case management.

What You’ll Do
- Directly involved in crisis intervention.
- Strong understanding of M-1 Hold process
- Collaborate with intake/placement process to ensure appropriate dispatches.
- Meet Divisional/Program quality, business, and clinical annual goals.
- Provide clinical supervision to clinical staff by adhering to clinical supervision model
- Responsible to ensure that client files always comply. Establish a routine schedule for performing file audits with the appropriate risk assessment staff.
- Ensure continued quality improvement of division.
- In states where applicable, responsible for overseeing divisional compliance for Mental Health Utilization.
- Prepare reports, as required, in a timely manner.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performance divisional team. Provide direction to staff in the form of answers to problems and advice with staff performance and youth issues.
- Establish performance goals for the division and monitor progress.
- Interview candidates applying for assigned clinical and non-clinical positions in the division. Responsible for the training of assigned staff, which includes, thorough and complete training for new employees and assuring that the current staff receive appropriate continuing education. Assign and evaluate performance goals, conduct monthly supervision, and perform scheduled evaluations for all direct reports. Establish work schedules and on call rotation, as mandated by Mobile Crisis Response Contract, among staff to assure coverage of the division.
- Supervise clinical documentation and provide necessary feedback. Provides supervisory and clinical backup support for the needs of clients and staff as necessary.
- Fill in for various positions during absence of vacancy of such. This may include providing direct services to clients in crisis and clinical support to clients in the absence of a mobile response clinician. In addition, may include provision of direct support for licensing, training, and compliance. Ensure the daily office responsibilities are maintained in the absence of Director and or DOM.
- Address both the clinical and operational issues within the division
- Assist with setting, managing, and achieving the financial budget of division May work with Executive Director and Director and finance department to develop an annual operating budget and work within that budget once approved. Review monthly financial information and make suggestions when necessary.
- Master’s degree in the field of social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or other approved related field of human services.
- Must be independently licensed for the state of Colorado.
- At least one year of crisis experience. Two years of relevant experience preferred in the field of mental health/therapeutic intervention with children, adolescents, families, and older adults/geriatric. At least one year of supervisor experience.

- Targeted hiring range: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00
- Compensation is commensurate with transferrable experience, education and licensure of candidate, along with internal equity and budgeted amount for the role.
