Enhance Patient Outcomes in Medical Device Sales
We're seeking a well-rounded, college graduate for an inside sales representative position on our Medical Device team. This role entails marketing Surgical Products and Devices to veterinary surgeons, enhancing patient outcomes in the fast-growing veterinary healthcare market.
Job Responsibilities:
The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with field sales organization, partnering with their own territory field sales representative. Key responsibilities include prospecting, account profiling, pipeline creation, coordinating education calls, and post-sales account management.
Mission-Critical Functions:
• Identify existing customers' needs and opportunities, educating them on additional products and devices in our portfolio.
• Follow up with inbound leads from vendor-sponsored promotions and events, communicating benefits and driving evaluations and sales.
• Target non-user accounts, presenting product information to convert competitive business, drive evaluations, and sales.
• Assist customers with product repairs, returns, payment/credit questions, and other facets of account management.
• Accurately respond to inbound questions related to products and services, assist with providing clinical information, and product pricing.
• Identify, collect, and communicate insights related to competitor information and surgeon product utilization and practice trends.
• Document interactions and activities in appropriate databases.
Skills Required:
• College degree – BA/BS
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills (strong phone presence with a positive, outgoing personality)
• Multitasking: ability to manage multiple sales opportunities through the sales cycle
• Sales Effectiveness: ability to find, develop, and close sales opportunities
• Business Acumen: ability to understand and add value to the customer's business model
• Adaptive: ability to modify sales strategy and tactics to adjust to market changes
Preferred Qualifications: One to two years of previous sales experience; background in medical sales is a plus, but we'll train the right candidate.
