Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse operations and route driving responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining efficient warehouse practices. The ideal candidate will be skilled in moving and handling products, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate excellent driving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently.
- Perform route driving duties, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading products from delivery vehicles, including heavy lifting as required.
- Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment for moving materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures upon delivery.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space, including proper storage of inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
- Pull daily customer orders, Quick and timely loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
- Provide excellent customer service by accurately pulling orders
- Forklift experience preferred and ability to operate electric pallet jacks
- Must be able to lift 50 pound cases of product regularly
- Requires standing and moving products for an 8-hour shift
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus; certification may be required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage inventory effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or courier environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Clean background check
