What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Manager position at SAGCLAY?
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations and ensure continuous improvement of plant equipment and processes.
- Implement cost-effective solutions and maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Lead and manage engineering projects from proposal to execution, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and support manufacturing activities.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate team members; make decisions on promotions, assignments, and corrective actions.
- Conduct cost estimates, payback and risk analyses; maintain structured reporting for project tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (Master’s/MBA preferred).
- 12 years of experience in manufacturing (experience in munitions is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, time management, and cost control.
- Proven leadership in team development and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of DOE, ISO standards, and risk management is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel when required.

Pay: $118,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
