Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly qualified Environmental Manager to lead environmental compliance efforts, hazardous waste management, and regulatory reporting. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to EPA, TCEQ, RCRA, and TSCA regulations while overseeing environmental permits, audits, and inspections. Additionally, the Environmental Manager will manage a caretaker contract, supervise a team, and coordinate facility maintenance and forestry projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with EPA, TCEQ, RCRA, and TSCA regulations and reporting requirements.
- Oversee hazardous waste management, stormwater, wastewater, and air quality compliance.
- Maintain environmental permits and facilitate regulatory inspections and audits.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address compliance issues.
- Manage contracts and vendors related to environmental and facility maintenance programs.
- Lead a team in executing environmental and safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental compliance and hazardous waste management.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory permitting, compliance audits, and corrective action implementation.
