Your Role as a Special Education Teacher (2025- 2026 SY)
- Instruction & Consistency- Deliver engaging lessons at assigned locations and times, ensuring structure and continuity.
- Classroom Environment- Foster a supportive and emotionally safe learning space that meets the unique needs of emotionally fragile students.
- Student Learning- Guide instruction to align with Sage Alliance curriculum goals, adapting to individual student abilities, interests, and developmental levels.
- Clear Expectations- Set and communicate clear learning objectives for lessons, units, and projects to ensure student understanding.
- Instructional Methods- Utilize diverse teaching strategies and resources, adapting to available space, technology, and student needs.
- Educational Philosophy- Uphold Sage Alliance’s mission through effective instruction and alignment with established goals and expectations.
- Student Progress- Regularly monitor student performance, provide timely assessments and reports, and engage parents to support student success.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.
- Emotional Intelligence: Active listening skills and the ability to support students’ individual needs with empathy.
