Your Role as a Associate Teacher
- Instructional Support - Assists in planning and implementing instructional strategies tailored to student learning needs.
- Individualized Instruction - Provides personalized teaching and works with small student groups.
- Clerical Duties - Completes administrative tasks as delegated by the teacher.
- Project Assistance - Helps students with various projects and curriculum-related tasks.
- Supervision - Oversees students during co-curricular activities, arrivals, dismissals, lunch periods, and field trips.
- Resource Management - Aids in maintaining and managing classroom equipment and instructional materials.
- Substitute Teaching - Serves as a substitute in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Leadership Role - Takes on lead teaching responsibilities when required.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited institution.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff.
- Active listening and emotional intelligence to support students’ needs.
- Ability to foster a positive, professional school environment with patience and adaptability.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications:
- Previous teaching or related experience working with children.
