Property Management Co-Assistant (Multiple Positions)
Join our team and contribute to providing quality housing for over 140 households in Barron County!
We are seeking results-driven individuals with a proactive "go-and-see" attitude to join us as Property Management Co-Assistants. This role offers opportunities to learn new skills and work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our properties. This is a dynamic position requiring both office and field work, and a commitment beyond a standard "clock in, clock out" mentality.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Coverage: Work assigned days/hours in addition to providing coverage for the Property Manager during vacations and time off.
- Tenant Communication: Monitor and respond to tenant and prospect inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely and friendly manner.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle difficult conversations with tenants and vendors constructively.
- Administrative Tasks: Learn and execute key administrative tasks, including processing monthly deposits, managing delinquencies, communicating with tenants, and issuing notices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Property Manager, Maintenance, and Regional Staff.
- Property Inspections: Inspect properties to address concerns, document issues, and communicate with tenants and staff.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Lease Renewals: Assist with annual lease renewal processes.
- Software Proficiency: Learn and utilize Rent Manager and other tracking software.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform miscellaneous tasks as required.

Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Ability to work outdoors in various Wisconsin weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely and consistently.
- Proficiency in using and maintaining equipment, supplies, and protective gear.
- Smartphone capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe software.
