Job Description: Oversight of all CAPA (Corrective And Preventative Action) activities with limited guidance/supervision. Must be a self-starter that is well organized, has excellent follow through, strong communication (written and verbal), understands basic problem-solving methodologies, detail oriented, able to collaborate, work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines. Outside candidates will be considered.
General description of duties:
· Lead all CAPA activities from start to completion
· Formulate timely corrective action reports (8D)
· Document and archive all CAPA activity
· Track open items including owners, due dates and status
· Collaborate with internal team members on root cause analysis, action items and timing compliance
· Ensure timely resolutions within customer guidelines
· Request deadline extensions in advance if needed
· Communicate with customers regarding Sage compliance, issues and tracking clean points
· Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions and monitor repeat issues
· Create and publish metrics to ensure company visibility regarding customer complaint quantities and status
· Prepare/present presentations for customer on sample analysis and feedback
· Lead containment activity for all customer complaints within 24 hours of notification
· Portal maintenance and submissions
· Customer communication as needed
· All other duties as needed/directed by supervisor
Requirements and qualifications:
· Participate in all aspects of the Sage Safety Process
· Requires both desk and plant time
- Ability to communicate with all areas of the company and with outside customers
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work as an individual and part of a cross functional team
· Self-starter with demonstrated time management skills
· Working knowledge of JOMAR ERP system preferred/ability to learn
· Working knowledge of basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc)
· Working knowledge of courier services (FEDEX, UPS, DHL)
· Quality assurance experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred in a manufacturing setting
- Participate/Lead daily and weekly calls with both internal/external customers and team members
- Weekend/evening work as needed to meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.59 - $26.78 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
