Quality Assurance Facilitator

Job Description: Perform tasks and audits focused on ensuring Sage products and processes are consistently capable to meet customer requirements across all plants/locations.Must be a self-starter that is well organized, has excellent follow through, strong communication (written and verbal), understands basic problem-solving methodologies, detail oriented, able to collaborate, work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines. Outside candidates will be considered.

General description of duties:

· Works closely with the CAPA Coordinator to execute actions needed for customer satisfaction

· Complete first production audit checklist for new products

· Audit internal specifications with compliance to external requirements

· Maintain quality tracking systems to ensure accuracy (specifications, work instructions, audit templates, etc)

· Assist in containment, certification and sorting for quality concerns

· Potential travel as needed between plants, for customer issues and external containment

· Validation support for corrective actions or change points

· Communicate audit findings/opportunities with all involved stakeholders

· Collaborate with plant associates and management team to solve problems

· All other duties as needed/directed by supervisor

Requirements and qualifications:

· Participate in all aspects of the Sage Safety Process

· This is a hands-on role requiring most job functions to be spent on the plant floor

· Travel between plant(s) or to external customers as needed/directed

• Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work as an individual and part of a cross functional team

· Self-starter with demonstrated time management skills

· Working knowledge of JOMAR ERP system preferred/ability to learn

· Working knowledge of basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc)

· Quality assurance experience preferred

• Customer service experience preferred in a manufacturing setting
• Participate in daily/weekly calls to support internal and external projects
• Weekend/evening work as needed to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.59 - $26.78 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
