Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and restaurant management, with a flair for creating innovative dishes that delight our guests. This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, menu planning, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Plan and design menus for daily service, special events, and catering functions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage food supplies to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods.
  • Assist in banquet preparation and execution as needed.

Skills

  • Strong culinary skills with experience in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Knowledge of restaurant management principles, including staff supervision and training.
  • Experience in banquet and catering operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food management.
  • Excellent organizational skills for effective inventory control and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
