Sage Business Services is seeking skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to fill contract positions at the Charleston VA Medical Center and surrounding Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Administer oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous medications as per facility protocols.
• Observe and document patients' responses to care and report changes to RNs or MDs/DOs.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and care teams.
• Incorporate excellent customer service standards into daily practice.
• Provide care for COVID-19-positive patients or Patients Under Investigation (PUI), if required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of a state-approved school of practical/vocational nursing.
• Licensure: Current, unrestricted LPN license from any U.S. state.
• Certification: Active CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accredited by the American Heart Association.
• Experience (varies by role):
• Med/Surg: 2 years of current experience within the last 6 months.
• Primary Care/Specialty Clinics: 2 years of current experience within the last 6 months.
• Long-Term Care/Nursing Home: 2 years of current experience within the last 6 months.
• Psychiatric/Mental Health: 2 years of current experience within the last 6 months.
  
  

Work Schedule Options:

• Med/Surg & Long-Term Care/Nursing Home: 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends preferred.
• Primary Care/Specialty Clinics: 8-10 hour shifts.
