- Total Staffed Beds: 323 (70 Neonatal ICU)
Position Details:
- Specialty: PICU
- Start Date: Must start within 3–4 weeks of submission
- Shifts: Rotating shifts every 3–4 weeks (facility will try to accommodate straight shifts if scheduling allows)
- Weekend/Holiday: Every Other Weekend (EOW) & Every Other Holiday
Job Requirements:
- Experience: 2.5–3 years of RECENT PICU experience (minimum 2 years required)
- Certifications: BLS required
- License: Pending licenses accepted with proof of application date
- Floating: May float to other critical care units as needed
Key Highlights:
- RTO Restrictions: Max 7 days off; full week off must be made up
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Perform patient assessments, including IV insertion and catheterization, while monitoring vital signs.
- Administer medications and manage tube feeding as per physician orders.
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient data management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain BLS certification and adhere to critical care protocols to respond effectively in emergencies.
