Key Responsibilities
Assist surgeons in pediatric cardiovascular surgeries , ensuring sterile technique and proper equipment handling.
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for CVOR procedures.
Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other surgical team members.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Maintain accurate surgical counts, documentation, and procedural compliance.
Requirements
- Experience : 2 years of RECENT Pediatric CVOR Surgical Tech experience required.
- Certifications : BLS (Required) .
- Pediatric Experience : Must have previous experience working in a pediatric surgical setting.
- Skills : Strong knowledge of CVOR instrumentation, procedures, and sterile field maintenance .
