SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a reliable Cashier and Barista for a private school dining hall in Little Rock, AR. This candidate will also perform assist the Food Service Director with office duties, including processing invoices and managing paperwork. During peak meal periods, you will jump in as a barista for a few hours to help us get the students through the line.

Our cafe serves the upper and middle school community specialty coffee drinks, breakfast breads, sandwiches and your smile!

This position will require transporting items across campus using a golf cart.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday.
• 6:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
• Summers and holidays off.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests cheerfully, answering guest questions, taking orders, accepting payments, and preparing and serving food and drinks.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace and dining area; updating displays; and continuously expanding their knowledge of food and beverage quality controls, preparation methods, and presentation.
• Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and provide service with a smile.
• Set up, clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations.
• Adhere to SAGE’s safety and allergy prevention policies.
• Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items.
• Assist in training new Team Members.
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.
• Record all transactions in the point-of-sale system.
• Collect payments by accepting cash, credit, debit, or flex dollars, per venue requirements.
• Balance bank by counting drawer at the beginning and end of shift.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Barista experience preferred.
• Experience in food and beverage preparation and customer service preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
