Safety Specialist – Electrical Construction (Direct Hire)

We are hiring an experienced safety specialist to oversee job site safety, compliance, and training for electrical construction projects. The role requires 5 years of construction safety experience, strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, and the ability to train and enforce safety protocols on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce job site safety programs in compliance with OSHA, NFPA-70E, and company policies.
• Conduct regular job site inspections, audits, and safety training sessions.
• Assist with incident investigations, safety documentation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure all personnel adhere to safety standards.
• Support high-risk activity planning, permit applications, and prequalification forms.
• Be on-site during OSHA inspections and customer safety audits.
  
  

Requirements

• OSHA 30 and CPR/First Aid Certification required (OSHA 500/501 or CHST preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to job sites.
• 5 years of construction safety experience (electrical construction preferred).
• Strong knowledge of CFR 1910, CFR 1926, and industry-specific safety practices.
• Ability to train personnel and conduct on-site safety supervision.

This is a 90% field-based role with occasional office responsibilities. Must be able to work in all weather conditions, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs.
