YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR ELECTRICIAN APPRENTICE
Your days will be filled with dynamic experiences as you assist electricians with a range of tasks, from electrical installations and maintenance to troubleshooting and repairs. Picture yourself actively engaging in on-the-job training, honing your skills in electricity, and collaboratively problem-solving with experienced professionals. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functioning of electrical systems in the challenging environments of the oil, gas, and mining industries. Here's what we need from you:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant coursework or vocational training in Electrical Technology or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience as an Electrician Apprentice
- Skills in electricity and electrical work, maintenance & repair, and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles
- Ability to understand and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Preferred certifications: OSHA 10-hour, MSHA, Safeland/PEC, and First Aid/CPR.
