We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Med Surg /Telemetry nurse to join our healthcare team.
Position Details:
Position Name: RN Med Surg Telemetry

Pay Rate: $2520 Weekly Gross pay based on a 36-hour work week. (Includes Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shifts available: Nights
Shift timings: 12 Hours; Nights, 7.00p – 7.30a
Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, Any 3 days of the week including every other weekend
Position Requirements:
- Current Med Surg Telemetry Nursing experience: 2 years - Required
- PCU experience - strongly preferred
- RN Must be willing to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice - Required
- Minimum 3 months of travel/contract experience - Required
- Small critical access facility experience – Highly preferred
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN – Required
- BSN – Highly preferred
- RN License for State of Vermont or Compact - Required
- BLS, ACLS Certifications from AHA - Required
Job Description:
- Provide Nursing Care in Med Surg and Telemetry Units
- Incorporate the appropriate assessment and intervention skills, utilizing the nursing process, in delivering nursing care on their unit for a specified group of patients on a designated shift.
- Communicate accurately and timely with patients, team members, and management, using written and verbal skills effectively and considerately.
- Promote compassionate, efficient, cost-effective and quality patient care.
- Incorporate teaching principles into practice and demonstrate competence in health promotion and disease prevention.
- Demonstrate qualities consistent with the role of applying leadership skills appropriately.
- Apply critical thinking skills and consider alternatives in the delivery of patient care.
- Develop and maintain human care relationships and integrate the influence of the human experience of health, illness and/or healing.
- Apply knowledge integration skills for the patient populations served within the Inpatient Care Unit.
