Position Details:
Position Name: Travel RN Interventional Radiology (IR)

Pay Rate: $3200 Weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed, 5 X 8-hr shifts per week, Mon-Fri, Rotation of weekend call (day shift) only for occasional procedures
Position Requirements:
- Current IR Nursing experience: 2 years - Required
- Cerner experience: Highly preferred
- Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
Education, License and Certification Requirements:
- ASN - Required
- BSN – Preferred
- RN License for State of Illinois - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
- ACLS Certification from AHSA – Required
- PALS Certification from AHSA - Required
Job Description:
- RN (Diagnostic Imaging) is responsible for assessment and response to patient care and needs during imaging procedures.
- The nursing position in radiology will work with technologists and physicians to assist with nursing guidance and protocols during imaging procedures.
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including airway management and medical documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding the procedures
- Utilize medical imaging techniques and sonography as needed for patient assessments.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain accurate medical records.
