Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Installation/Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, troubleshooting, and servicing various security systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install & repair all aspects of CCTV (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and associated peripheral equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and service on existing security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion
- Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, service calls, and maintenance activities
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge
- Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and confidential information based on both company and client safety standards
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security systems in a similar position
- Manufacturer Certifications: Honeywell, Kantech, VideoEdge, American Dynamics, ProWatch, Victor, VMS or other types of security platforms
- Experience with CCTV (analog and IP), Access Control, Burglar Alarm, and other associated equipment
- Working knowledge of MS Office and basic computer functions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members while ensuring confidentiality
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent qualification
Physical Demands & Safety
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments
- Ability to effectively use hand and power tools
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clear driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation
