Position: Classified - Part-Time
Work Calendar: Fridays 7:45am - 6:00pm, plus Mon-Friday during school breaks and summer
Salary: $12-$16 hourly depending on experience
Description:
Sage International School, a public school choice, has an opening for an ESage Teacher who will work with school aged children conducting developmentally appropriate activities and field trips while focusing on the International Baccalaureate (IB) model over the summer. This role will be under the guidance of the ESage Program Lead and will generally Fridays 7:45am to 6pm, and Monday - Friday during school breaks and summer. Days and hours can be flexible depending on need or availability during breaks and summer.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children of all abilities preferred.
- Able to apply developmentally appropriate practices for school aged children.
- Experience with outdoor recreational activities preferred
- Ability to build genuine relationships with families and maintain a welcoming environment.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Certified in CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain certifications upon hire.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds in weight.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and use sound judgment
- Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations.
