Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Jersey City, NJ and Boston, MA (Hybrid 3 days in office every week)
Job Description:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for fund accounting processes.
- Understands Fund Accounting for Mutual Funds and understands End to End process to generate Net Asset value (NAV) for the fund , and its data Set up.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to mutual funds.
- Have experience with IT product development life cycle
- Work closely with IT and Business teams to implement product enhancements and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably within the mutual funds industry.
- Strong knowledge of mutual fund operations, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or similar.
