Job Summary:

Sage Oak Charter Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Independent Study Specialist to join our team. As an Independent Study Specialist, you will be responsible for providing academic support to high school students in a virtual learning environment.

About the Role:

We are looking for a professional who can develop and implement personalized learning plans for each student, provide academic guidance and support, and facilitate effective communication between students, parents, and teachers. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, be able to work independently, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized learning plans for each student
• Provide academic guidance and support to students
• Facilitate effective communication between students, parents, and teachers
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of educational services
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in independent study

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• 2 years of experience in teaching or educational support roles
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of curriculum and instructional methods
• Familiarity with virtual learning environments and online platforms

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working remotely. The ideal candidate will have a reliable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.

Salary: $74,292 - $104,816 per annum, depending on experience
