SAGE Rental Services is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager will be based out of our Odessa TX office and will be responsible for day-to-day operations, sales and service within the branch. They will serve on the leadership team to oversee the performance, efficiencies and satisfaction of employees. They will work to find ways to enhance employees’ work quality and productivity as well as operational policies and strategies that keep the branch functioning smoothly.

- Responsible for day-to-day operations, sales and service within the branch
- Strong operational, communication, planning and time management skills
- Responsible for performance management of direct staff including sales team, service technicians, and other staff as applicable
- Support Branch Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives
- Assist the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies
- Be forward-facing with customers and be a solution provider
- Intermediary to ensure all orders are delivered on time and efficiently
- Maintaining open lines of communication between customer and dispatch
- Making sure that all safety regulations and other company policies are followed
- Knowledgeable of company products, inventory, pricing, and delivery capabilities
- Dispatch service calls as required and maintain appropriate call logs
- Other duties assigned as needed
- Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or GED with some college coursework
- Must be able to work independently, prioritize and have the ability to work effectively with a variety of people
- Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related field
- Three years of work-related skill, knowledge, or customer service experience
- Technical/computer literacy skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, engine, rental industry software, etc
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees and display excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner and work well in a team environment
- Strong level of recordkeeping and document control to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and weekly goal expectations
- Ensure company workplace safety guidelines are followed and environmental standards are practiced when on duty or on site
- Combination of education and Operational leadership experience
- 3-5 years of experience; Rental industry experience favorable
