JOB TITLE: Professional Herbicide Applicator

Job purpose

Apply herbicides for DOT, Plant Sites, Utilities, Municipalities, along Rights of Way, and more.

Duties and Responsibilities

Serious inquiries only from those looking for a professional career in vegetation management. The positions include managing projects, interfacing with customers, spraying herbicides under power lines and DOT roadways, along with many other vegetation management services we offer (line cutting, light chain saw work, spraying substations, etc). Some travel is required. (Travel will typically be Sunday - Thursday. Company will provide vehicle & accomedations during travel.)

Looking to hire immediately.

A valid Driver's License and transportation to work is also required.

Qualifications

Minimal Qualifications:

• Valid Driver License
• Drug Free and supportive of company policies
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to our office in Chapin, SC

Physical Requirements

Must be able to carry and handle equipment, walk in difficult terrain, work outdoors every day, endure long hours, and work in the elements.

Ability to operate equipment such as:

• Spraying - systems
• Four-wheelers
• Back Pack Sprayers
• Landscape equipment (mowers, chainsaws, etc.)

Pay Range:

Starting Salary Range: $15.00 - $20.00 /hour depending on experience & licensing

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Landscape experience is helpful but not necessary
• Commercial applicator experience is helpful but not necessary
• Small engine knowledge is helpful but not necessary

Location:

• Office located in Chapin, SC
• Work sites located throughout South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, & Virginia

o Travel accommodations will be provided by the company

License:

• Driver's License Required
• Willingness to obtain Commercial Herbicide(Pesticide) Applicators License
