We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Assistant to join our team at Sage Solutions Group. This internship is ideal for students who want to gain hands-on experience in human resources.
You'll work closely with our HR Generalist, HR Manager, and HR Director teams, assisting with a wide range of HR-related functions. From talent acquisition to employee engagement, you'll gain insight into the multifaceted world of human resources and make a meaningful impact on our company's operations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the full recruiting life cycle: creating job ads, posting positions, screening applications, conducting phone interviews, talent sourcing, and supporting onboarding.
- Develop and coordinate employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives.
- Help with the creation and refinement of HR documents such as handbooks, job descriptions, and policies.
- Provide feedback and suggestions on materials in progress.
- Participate in company meetings and development groups.
- Contribute to Sage Solutions Group's social media presence through blogs, videos, posts, and more.
- Assist in compensation and benefits analytics for our clients, including wage analysis, benefits overview, and compensation ratios.
- Conduct research on HR topics to develop knowledge resources for clients.
- Support the creation of standard operating procedures and related documents for HR processes.
- Assist with organizing internal systems and managing employee files.
What We're Looking For:
- A current student in good standing, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service or client management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms).
- A valid driver's license.
