Job Summary
As a Staging/MPS Technician for imageOne’s Oak Park facility, this position is essential for the setup and staging of equipment, service and support, training, and internal assistance. The role is Temporary for a period of 3- 4 months. The ideal candidate must promote excellent customer service, attention to detail, and uphold the imageOne core values as a team member! This position is Part-Time, 4 hours/day.

Setup and Staging of Equipment
- Unbox new orders
- Assemble new product in warehouse
- Configure settings prior to the device leaving the warehouse
- Configure peripherals with added accessories
- Upgrade firmware and tag devices
- Assist in delivery or new equipment to customer location
- Assist in removal of existing equipment if required
- Site walkthroughs and assessments
- Warehouse coverage in the afternoons
- Handle assigned proactive cleanings/maintenance for contractual customer who have this in their contract. These can come up quarterly, bi-annually.
- Working with MACD department to get accurate information back.
Training
- HP, Konica, Lexmark, and Xerox single function and multi-function equipment, light production
- Setup, staging, installing, of equipment
- iO processes
- Customer processes
- Inner-department interactions
- Company department, and one on one meetings
- 24/7 on-call rotation
- Special Projects when requested out of town when necessary
- Personal development
- Experience in printer repair
- The ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Safety compliance
- Operation of a lift gate
- Ability to load delivery vans
- Service mind set oriented
- Preferred: HP, Xerox, and Konica Minolta manufacturer certifications
- Knowledge and experience with IT ticketing systems
- Preferred: ServiceNow and EA
- Experience with 3rd party print based solutions
- Preferred: Printer Logic, HP Security Manager, and LRS
- High attention to detail and follow through
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Professional attitude with a desire to learn and grow
- Proficient with Microsoft O365 suite
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
