What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Production Trainer (Warehouse) position at Sage Sustainable Electronics?
The SageSE Technical Trainer will impact culture, belonging, productivity and quality standards for the organization. The Trainer will prepare and teach programs to help Sagers learn their practice and become “Masters of their Domain” in line with our CREDO. Day to day the responsibility of the Technical Trainer will be to assess training needs, teach courses, mentor Sagers and create new materials to ensure employees are technologically ready to meet the function requirements for their position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creates, maintains, and executes training schedules for functions in plant operations to support ongoing processes.
- Develops and revises and work instructions to support process changes and new procedures to meet client expectations.
- Audits processes, product and operators to ensure adherence to procedural documentation.
- Assist with onboarding new hires to create a safe comfortable and effective learning space.
- Assist with employee career development by identifying individuals that express interest in expanding their learning and taking on more responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least five (2) years’ experience as a technical trainer, training specialist, or a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of ITAD
- Advanced technical skills in e-learning and mobile training
- Strong teaching and mentoring experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated high level of communication across multiple platforms (in person, email, phone, IM, text) and interpersonal skills
- Experience public speaking and comfortable working in front of an audience
- Experience addressing and delivering reports to management
- Ability to work with a team and adapt quickly in a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Professional technical training certification such as STT
- Knowledge in quality/environmental procedures
- ISO knowledge preferred
- Six Sigma / 5S / Kaizen desired
- Experience in a production environment
- Lean Training or Experience desired
