Job summary
Golf Operations’ Outside Service Attendants are responsible for the upkeep and storage of our golf cart fleet, the member bag room, and our driving range and golf course. Outside service attendants will regularly shuttle members and their guests from location to location throughout property. They are also responsible for moving member and guests’ golf bags and belongings between locations. Organization, customer service, and the ability to navigate club property efficiently and proficiently is a must. The golf ops team is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the practice facilities and ensuring that ice and water is stocked and trash is emptied at all applicable tee boxes at all times throughout the course. Golf cart attendants will communicate daily with golf staff and caddie managers to ensure that Sage Valley standards are upheld.
Essential Functions
1. Performing job duties in accordance with Sage Valley, Federal, State, and OSHA guidelines.
2. Ability to work in a variety of different outdoor environments and settings, to include (but not limited to) extreme heat or cold, inclement weather, and high humidity.
3. Licensed driver with the ability to safely operate both electric and gas-powered golf carts.
4. Ability to be professional and respect confidentiality of members and their guests.
5. Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
6. Must be able to be on your feet for 8-10 hours a day.
7. Must be able to safely use and work around cleaning chemicals.
