The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills:
- The applicant must be able to read and understand legislation in English and be able to present (verbally and written) the key information. The successful candidate must be able to speak native level English and be a capable communicator.
- Desirable (but not essential) the ideal candidate will also be a fluent Spanish speaker and able to translate complex Spanish compliance, tax and similar content into English.
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have experience working in a role where they have reviewed legislation, tax or accounting standards. A professional accounting or tax qualification is desirable (but not essential if the candidate can demonstrate practical work experience in this sector). They will have at least 2 years post qualification experience.
- The successful candidate will be able to work cross functionally and be comfortable building a network so that they can be become the subject matter expert in compliance for their region. They will be able to create assets and support discussions on compliance topics for their region.
