Sagebrush is looking for a motivated self-starter to help us grow. This position will report directly to our Engineering Manager and will be responsible for engineering and design of mechanical and electromechanical systems for our manufactured process skids. In this Project Engineer role, you will have exposure to multiple aspects of manufactured process equipment, and in a company environment where your flexibility, initiative, and individual assertiveness help get the job done. You will, at times, wear many hats, (i.e.: engineering design, working with production, purchasing, quality control and others on our team, conducting client site visits, client and project management, technical product support, and other tasks).


QUALIFICATIONS:

·      BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is required

·      Familiarity with engineering principles, tools and equipment

·      Familiarity with natural gas equipment, including meters, control valves, heaters, heat exchangers, piping, pressure vessels, filters, skid assemblies, ASME code requirements.


Job Requirements

  • Receive and interpret job specific requirements, including specifications, drawings, data sheets and translate into specific job tasks and deliverables.
  • Create basic engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, data sheets, and lists.
  • Create and maintain documents for purchasing and production, including design drawings and specifications, Bills of Materials, material requisitions, long lead items
  • Understanding and application of ASME codes and standards.
  • Working with fundamentals of heat transfer, fluid mechanics, combustion and controls
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system processes and design
  • Familiarity with piping and electro-mechanical devices and systems. 
  • Must be able to work independently and also in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and oral presentation skills
  • Technical writing skill
  • Organization and time management skills


As a Project Engineer with Sagebrush, work tasks will include but are not limited to design, cost estimating, component selection, applications verification, drawing checking, analysis of options, materials suitability and selection, ASME calculations, assisting with aftermarket service, troubleshooting, and engineering change management.


Compensation is commensurate with relevant experience.

Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
