Sagebrush Inn & Suites is hiring a motivated event staff with a professional attitude and strong work ethic to join our banquets team. Morning, lunch, and evening shifts are available in addition to flexible opportunities based on experience and skills.
Summary:
A Banquet Staff with Sagebrush Inn & Suites is responsible setting up event venues for events and for delivering and serving food and beverage items to banquet guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Set banquet tables and event space to meet function specifications according to BEO
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
- Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and, acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and, organization of assigned work areas.
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Complete side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, polishing silverware, cleaning restrooms, etc.
- Be comfortable asking for help when needed.
