SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTIONS
The Manager TSC Engineering position is a full-time, exempt position responsible for managing Sagent’s Engineering Development Team as they develop new test designs, current test improvements, physical test set up, technician training on new testing procedures, ensuring all products have documented testing procedures and researching for future development needs. Will also perform root cause analysis and collaborate with TSC Management or customers to resolve issues. This position interacts directly with Sagent sales, management team, and customers. This position will report to the VP of Test & Repair.
Other duties as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Manage the development of test plans, test equipment BOMs, and software requirements through development cycle, from requirement definition through deployment, technical training and continually monitoring performance
- Actively identify issues and optimizations throughout the TSC’s testing and repair processes
- Collaborate with Production Managers to manage and resolve escalated technical issues arising from internal and external customers
- Perform root cause analysis of parametric data and taking a continual improvement approach to address data trends
- Responsible for managing scheduled maintenance and calibration of Sagent and customer-owned testers and equipment
- Establish project schedules and budgets with performance commitments for the Engineering Development Team
- Work closely with customer engineering teams and participate in customer meetings, as required
- Participate in RFP analysis of test and repair capabilities along with costing and CAPEX budget requirements
- Staying up to date with technology trends, how they can impact Sagent, and provide suggestions or plans to implement in preparation
- Actively monitor team member performance on an on-going basis and work with Human Resources on all performance gaps and corrective action needs
- Maintain and manage regular performance notes for annual performance review preparedness for all direct report
KEY COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Proficiency of Acquired Skills, Aptitude, Capability
- Solid understanding of RF principles, wireless network infrastructure and data network protocols
- Strong background with DAS, small cell, and private network applications and infrastructure
- Exposure to power, Cisco, and system networking is a plus
- Able to think outside of the box and apply non-standard test techniques where normal procedures do not fulfill testing needs
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to set priorities and complete tasks on time with minimal supervision

- Occasional travel to other Sagent locations or customer locations may be required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Education, Certifications, Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and related field or equivalent work experience of 8 years
- AI understanding and enablement to improve processes, procedures, and capabilities
- Hands-on testing and troubleshooting experience with wireless radio components such as digital/baseband unit, remote radio, point-to-point microwave, etc.
- Solid understanding of RF principles, wireless network infrastructure and data network protocols
- Experience with 3GPP standards (FDD, TDD, 5G NR, LTE)
- Experience using RF test equipment tools(spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer etc.)
- Experience with programing/scripting languages C#, Python or JavaScript
