Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General / Breast Surgeon to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both general surgery and breast surgical oncology, with a commitment to excellence in patient care. This position includes participation in an on-call rotation, ensuring our patients have access to timely surgical interventions.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures with a focus on breast surgery, including biopsies, lumpectomies, mastectomies, and sentinel lymph node dissections.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including radiologists, oncologists, and plastic surgeons, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide on-call ER coverage as part of a shared rotation.
Engage in community outreach and education to promote breast health awareness.
Qualifications :
Board Certification in General Surgery; fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology is highly desirable.
Valid Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Demonstrated proficiency in both general and breast surgical procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-focused approach.
Ability to participate in on-call rotations, providing timely and effective surgical care.
