Over the course of this 10-week program, Interns will gain tangible, hands-on experience and insight into our business operations. After 3 days of orientation and training, you’ll join the Claims team, where you’ll be assigned projects with unlimited opportunity for challenges and achievement. In this role, you will help engage in administrative and claims activities which do not require a license but build on base knowledge of the insurance industry as well as claims and customer service experience. You will work with the leadership team to develop ideas and innovative practices that will support the continued growth of the claims team and will gain valuable insights into the processes and tools necessary to develop foundational claims experience. We have, very often, considered our interns for post-graduation roles within the company.

What you’ll be doing:
- Identify operational and communication-based o pportunities with Claims department supervisors and leaders
- Engage in a dministrative o pportunities – leverage i nnovative s trategies around identifying emerging risks and claim service opportunities
- Work with leaders to incorporate operationa l efficiencies specific to administrative tasks. Measure outcomes against touchpoints and claim handling experience
- Engage in non-licensed claim activities and special projects associated with introduction to insurance and highlighting the claims experience.
- Establish insurance industry knowledge and framework for understanding and making efficient use of currently available , operational, claims data
- An undergraduate education with an anticipated graduation date in 2025 or 2026 , or 2027
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Excel specific skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Suite knowledge
- Interested in building a foundational knowledge of the insurance industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Authorization to work in the United States
- GPA of 3.0 or better
