We are building a marketplace that enables b2b software vendors to identify, validate, and iterate their product and go-to-market strategies directly with target technology buyers & end-users in a non-sales setting. The Sagetap platform combines access to these practitioners with a suite of SaaS tools to help software vendors collect, analyze, and take action on non-customer sentiment in a meaningful way.

Job Description

As the Head of Product at Sagetap, you will lead the development and execution of our product strategy, driving the vision and roadmap for our marketplace platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize user experiences, enhance marketplace dynamics, and ensure our products deliver exceptional value. Your leadership will be essential in driving growth, user engagement, and maintaining Sagetap's industry-leading position.

What are we looking for :

1. Customer-Centric Product Development

Understand the pain points, needs, and desires of both Sages and Vendors to inform product decisions.
Continuously engage with Sages and Vendors to gather feedback and iterate on the product accordingly.
Utilize data to drive product prioritization and feature development.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver high-quality products on time.

Act as the primary point of contact between these teams, ensuring alignment on product goals and timelines.

Communicate product updates and changes effectively across the organization.

3. Marketplace Optimization

Focus on enhancing marketplace liquidity by improving the match rate between Sages and Vendors.

Identify and implement features that increase user engagement, retention, and transaction rates.

Monitor marketplace dynamics and adjust strategies to optimize supply and demand balance.

4. User Experience Improvement

Advocate for a seamless and intuitive user experience across all Sagetap interfaces.

Work with the design team to ensure that the product is visually appealing and easy to use.

Regularly gather and act on user feedback to refine and enhance the user experience.

5. Communication and Documentation

Clearly document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Ensure all product documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.

Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from technical teams to executives.

Qualifications

Strong experience in marketplaces.

Over 5 years of experience in Product Management, utilizing agile methodologies in web development.

1 years of experience in team leadership; managing globally diverse teams is an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-informed decision-making

Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally to achieve on-time, on-budget results.

Skilled in managing new requests, translating them into feature sets, and breaking them down into actionable tasks.

Proficient in communicating complex and innovative ideas to product development teams, with a proven track record in driving decision-making.

Experienced in fast-paced SaaS environments; familiarity with product-led growth is beneficial.

Capable of converting business objectives and stakeholder needs into practical solutions.

Creative in managing diverse customer needs, adapting to changing requirements, and handling shifting priorities.

Proactive in identifying potential challenges and uncovering new opportunities.

Self-motivated with a strong ability to independently resolve business challenges.

Highly organized with keen attention to detail.

This role is a remote position, and can be based in any location. Since our distributed team works primarily across US time zones, US-based applicants are preferred.
