Are you a motivated student eager to gain real-world experience in institutional retirement consulting? SageView Advisory Group is offering a dynamic Summer Internship Program designed to provide hands-on learning, mentorship, and professional development in the retirement plan industry.
About the Institutional Retirement Internship
As a SageView Intern, you will gain invaluable exposure to institutional retirement plan consulting, fiduciary responsibilities, and investment strategies designed to help organizations and their employees achieve long-term retirement success. This program is structured to provide interns with meaningful assignments, networking opportunities, and industry insights that will enhance your career development.
What You’ll Do:
Engage in structured onboarding, learning about SageView’s mission, culture, and operations in the retirement plan consulting space.
Work on practical projects such as cost estimate projections, CRM updates, Retirement Income Solution documentation, and investment research.
Participate in a Capstone Project, tackling industry-related challenges such as:
Leveraging analytics, AI, or machine learning to improve client service and retirement plan outcomes.
Enhancing SageView’s competitiveness in institutional retirement consulting.
Strengthening employer branding for long-term success in the retirement services industry.
Attend bi-weekly check-ins, mentorship meetings, and networking sessions with SageView professionals.
Gain hands-on client service experience through client visits and team-specific training.
Earn certifications in Institutional Retirement Plans (IRP) and Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) to deepen your knowledge of the field.
\nWho We’re Looking For:
Students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Junior or Senior standing preferred) in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Passion for retirement plan consulting, investment research, and financial services.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
