Are you a seasoned professional in the retirement plan industry looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic Retirement Plan Consultant to play a pivotal role in delivering high-level service to plan sponsors and participants. If you have a passion for building strong client relationships, managing complex projects, and providing expert insights on retirement plans, this opportunity is for you!
What You’ll Do:
Serve as the primary contact for clients, developing and managing strong relationships.
Assess client needs and implement tailored service strategies.
Oversee client service projects such as benchmarking studies, vendor RFIs/RFPs, recordkeeping transitions, and investment reviews.
Identify, track, and resolve plan or vendor-related issues.
Develop participant communication strategies aligned with client objectives and compliance regulations.
Assist in preparing client reports, governance documents, meeting agendas, and minutes.
Stay updated on retirement plan industry trends, including legislative and regulatory developments.
Seek opportunities to engage with prospective clients and deliver compelling sales presentations.
Build relationships with industry professionals and potential referral sources.
\nWhat You’ll Bring:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Finance, Business, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
Licensing: Series 65 or 66 preferred, or willingness to obtain.
Experience: 5–10 years in the institutional retirement or retirement recordkeeping industry.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of retirement plan regulations, best practices, and fiduciary responsibilities.
Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Monday.com or similar CRM/project management tools.
Soft Skills: Highly organized with the ability to multitask, manage shifting deadlines, and effectively convey the value of our services to clients.
Networking: Familiarity with key industry service providers (recordkeepers, TPAs, attorneys, auditors, and advisors) and a strong ability to build professional relationships.
