JOB ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
Open: January 31, 2025 Close: February 7, 2025 or until filled
POSITION: Head Boys Wrestling Coach
Sageview High School
SCHEDULE: 2025- 2026 Season
SALARY: Based on the 2025-2026 Coaching Salary Schedule
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
*Current First Aid/CPR card or willing to obtain
*Type 2 License or willing to obtain
*Ability to meet WIAA coaching requirements and follow all WIAA and district guidelines
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Previous head coach experience at high school or collegiate level or five (5) years as
an assistant wrestling coach
*Ability to mentor coaches in wrestling program (9-12)
*Direct all phase of program (9-12)
*Ability to provide three weeks of practice plans
*Strong organizational and communicative skills
*Coordinate out of season camp and clinics
*District training regarding concussion management or ability and willingness to attend training
*Other required district training or ability and willingness to attend training
*Must include at least 2 letters of reference with letter of interest and completed application
along with sample practice plans
DESIRED: (Qualifications which are not required, but would be useful to the position)
*Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate
*Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
