Description
Assists registered pharmacist in preparing and distributing drugs
Assists in maintaining the drug inventory
Assists in the maintenance of files and incidental records
Recognizes unsafe acts or conditions as defined by SageWest Health Care's Policies and Procedures and takes immediate action to correct these acts or conditions
Reports to: System Pharmacy Director
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Qualifications
Required Licenses
[Wyoming, United States] Pharmacy Technicians
Must have a Wyoming State Pharmacy Technician license, or have a current Tech-In-Training certification from the Wyoming Board of Pharmacy.
Minimum Education
High School Graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Strongly prefer at least one year hospital or retail pharmacy experience
Required Skills
Must be able to work accurately with attention to detail within specified times.
