JOB SUMMARY
Supervises daily staff activities for assigned areas. Does intake for the Adult Unit.

Essential Functions:
- Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
- Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
- Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilities staff development programs.
- Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
- Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
- Manages people using HR/Performance Management processes and systems to align individual performances to achieve organizational results.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Associates degree required
- Graduate of a Program in Nursing Discipline Bachelors degree in Nursing Preferred
Required Skills:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, Handle with Care must be completed within 90 days of hire PASP Certificate within 90 days of hire.
License:
Texas RN License
