- Collaborate with other specialists, such as speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and psychologists, to create an integrated approach to student development.
- Develop and maintain instructional materials, resources, and tools tailored to the needs of DHH students.
- Evaluate and recommend assistive technologies and tools that can enhance learning and communication for DHH students.
- Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SL Endorsement)
- Experience working with Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students in educational settings.Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other sign languages is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and educators.
