Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the SECR Food & Beverage Supervisor, make sure that all events are set up on time and properly prepared. Ensure not less than 90% guest satisfaction is achieved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, tear down, move, arrange, and lift tables and banquet equipment.
- Set chairs, hang skirting and utilize linen.
- Work quickly and efficiently in an organized manner to change room set ups.
- Remain knowledgeable of various types of room set ups.
- Clean and vacuum rooms.
- Fill pitchers with ice and water and place on tables.
- Maintain equipment in an “as new” condition, demonstrating a respect for resort equipment.
- Assist in cleaning rooms after events; assist in buffet line as needed.
- Demonstrate to our guests a “we care” attitude.
- Present a professional image in the approach to guests and associates; demonstrate a desire to serve our guests and our associates.
- Support team dynamics on the job.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the Resort`s policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality and present a positive, professional demeanor and image at all times.

- Contact with associates and Food & Beverage management to ensure guest satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- One year customer service experience and/or the ability to successfully pass in-house training.
- Must be able to pass background check to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position.
License, Certification, or Special Requirements:
- Native American preference shall apply to all positions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of dining and food maintenance operations and guest
- Knowledge of set up and tear down methods.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to service guests in a professional appearance and manner.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a stressful and busy environment.
- Ability to carry out detailed, written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work in an efficient and organized manner.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, fingers, arms, legs associated with the set-up of functions.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pulling and walking.
- Frequent use of carts, dollies and elevators daily in moving equipment to designated locations across the organization.
- Ability to lift up to 150 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Frequent walking and standing in a smoking environment and contact with the general public. Constant visual stimulation via neon lights on slot machines, repeatedly changing machine video screens, static or flashing signs throughout the casino and constant machine and crowd noise.
- Must possess sufficient stamina to work under all types of weather conditions including extreme hot/cold and to lift, carry, push, or pull a variety of equipment and materials.
- Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
