Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Banquet Set-Up Attendant to assist in preparing event spaces for banquets, meetings, and special events. This on-call, evening position requires flexibility, physical stamina, and a keen eye for creating an inviting atmosphere for members. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Setup & Breakdown: Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and décor according to event specifications, seating charts, and banquet orders.
- Room Configuration: Ensure proper spacing and layout of furniture for various event styles (banquets, conferences, receptions, etc.).
- Equipment Handling: Set up and test AV equipment, podiums, staging, and lighting as required for each event.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and orderly banquet space before, during, and after events, including removing trash and resetting the room for the next function.
- Collaboration: Work closely with banquet servers and event coordinators to ensure seamless event execution.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow safety guidelines and venue policies to ensure a secure and hazard-free environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in banquet or event setup is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Must be able to read a BEO.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to follow instructions and event setup diagrams and beo.
