Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our establishment. As the first point of contact for our members, you will set the tone for their dining experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a polished demeanor, and the ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Greeting: Welcome members with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Reservation Management: Manage and organize reservations using the reservation system, ensuring efficient table turnover and minimal wait times.
- Seating Coordination: Escort members to their assigned tables, accommodating special seating requests whenever possible.
- Menu Assistance: Provide menus to members upon seating, and answer any immediate questions about menu items or specials.
- Customer Relations: Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Communication: Work closely with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and effective communication.
- Ambiance Management: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the host stand, entryway, and waiting areas.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle phone inquiries for reservations, takeout orders, or general questions about the restaurant.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
