RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of the Hartley Outdoor Education Center and Murphy Farm.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Per Diem.
• Rate of pay is $14.85 per hour.
• One (1) full-time school year position. (Days worked based on Hartley school year schedule).
• Approximately: 180 days. **Hours and days may vary based on Hartley school year schedule**.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Director of the Hartley Outdoor Education Center, this position will handle a high volume of food orders, and will also ensure that food preparation areas are clean and sanitized at all times. Additionally, you will support the monitoring and ordering of inventory. Success in this role will be demonstrated by serving orders promptly while maintaining compliance with the highest sanitation, safety, and quality standards.

DEPARTMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares ingredients beforehand to ease the flow of food preparation during business hours
• Cleans food preparation areas
• Appropriately prepares ingredients for special and specific dietary needs
• Unpacks and uses sauces and seasonings
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations
• Routinely checks inventory levels and orders new stocks when needed
• Manages workflow to determine the prioritization of orders
• Other duties as assigned

• Willing to receive additional training provided by the district to improve skills.

• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
