Job Description
Job Summary:
The Substitute Program Support Aide works as part of a team to assist the Teacher in activities in all areas of the Head Start program, building, classroom and kitchen. The person is this position assists classroom staff in all classroom activities including implementation of lesson plans, field trips, outdoor activities, meal times and transportation. The Sub-PSA helps supervise at mealtime, eating with the children to encourage good nutrition and proper social skills. Classroom duties include keeping the classroom and its contents clean and orderly, helping to maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and assists the teacher in any aspect of the program as the need arises.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience working with preschool children preferred.
