Level 1 requirements have been met.
- Suggest and explain to supervisor improvements in operations.
- Strong understanding in blue print reading, strong understanding of geometric tolerance interpretation.
- Comprehensive understanding of welding procedure specifications (WPS) and the ability to set up and make adjustments to welding machine.
- Before welding, welder must interpret the parts design from blueprints Or drawings and also have a comprehensive understanding of welding symbols.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and make adjustments as needed. Also perform quality checks on finished products to make sure dimensions and other criteria conform to specifications.
- Able to understand different types of fabricating tools, equipment, welding gauges need to achieve drawing requirements.
- Self-dependent, able to think thru day to day operations.
- Notify supervision of maintenance problems.
- Conform to the company's culture of quality, service and continuous improvement.
- Ability to pass required weld test (2G Horizontal Groove Weld Test).
