Job Summary: Responsible for temporary clerical assignments on an as needed basis in various departments within the University. To support administrative and secretarial staff with high level of office assistance. Interact effectively with University faculty, staff, and the public. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to answering telephones, photocopying, filing, maintaining calendars, performing word processing, using other various computer programs, cashiering, and other duties as assigned. This is an on-call, as needed position and hours may vary.
Minimum Qualifications : High school diploma or GED. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous secretarial experience. Experience with personal computers, Word, WordPerfect and Excel.
